Council Member Bergeson <br />adoption: <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 95-151 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF A <br />BACKHOE <br />WHEREAS: pursuant to an advertisement for bids for a backhoe, bids were received, <br />opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were <br />received complying with the advertisement: <br />NAME & ADDRESS AMOUNT OF BED <br />Midwest Machinery, Inc. <br />St. Joseph Equipment Co. <br />$47,293.46 <br />$64,190.80 <br />AND WHEREAS: it appears that Midwest Machinery, Inc. is the lowest responsible <br />bidder capable of providing the backhoe and responsive to the request for bids, <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />Hereby authorize the purchase of a backhoe from Midwest Machinery, Inc., in the <br />amount of $47,293.46. <br />Adopted by the City of Lino Lakes City Council this 27th day of November, 1995. <br />)) <br />Mari <br />- Vernon F.
