AGENDA ITEM NO. /3 <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR Marilyn Anderson, Clerk -Treasurer <br />DATE June 4,1996 <br />TOPIC <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Consideration of a Beer License and a Cabaret <br />License for the Annual St. Joseph Catholic <br />Church August Festival <br />The annual St. Joseph Catholic Church August Festival will be held on the weekend of <br />August 10th and 1 lth this year. The Festival will be held in the church parking lot. A <br />license to sell beer and a cabaret license is required for the dance that will be held in the <br />evening. The Church does hire an off-duty Lino Lakes Police Officer for security during <br />the evening events. <br />A certificate of insurance is in process and should be at City Hall by June l Oth There <br />have been not reported concerns regarding this annual event. <br />OPTIONS <br />1. Adopt a motion approving a Beer License and a Cabaret License for the August <br />Festival. <br />2 Return to staff for further information or corrections. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Option No. 1 <br />
