AGENDA ITEM NO. 12 <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR Randy Schumacher <br />DATE January 18, 1995 <br />TOPIC Authorizing the Issuance of 1995 Certificates of <br />Indebtedness <br />....................................... <br />BACKGROUND <br />The 1995 budget called for the issuance of certificates in the amount of $176,000 <br />to be used for the purchase of capital outlay. <br />The Area and Unit Fund has sufficient reserves to issue a loan to finance the capital <br />outlay. <br />A special levy will pay for these certificates in 1996 and 1997 and the levy proceeds <br />will be credited to the Area and Unit Fund. <br />Equipment to be funded by the 1995 Equipment Certificates include: <br />Line Striper <br />Copier <br />(2) Patrol Vehicles <br />(1) Single Axle Dump <br />Fire Capital Outlay <br />Total <br />OPTIONS <br />1. <br />1,500 <br />6,800 <br />35,010 <br />71,270 <br />61,000 <br />$ 176,000 <br />Approve the issuance of the 1995 Certificates of Indebtedness <br />2.
