(Communication Coinpound) <br />6221 Holly Drive, Amended Conditional Use <br />Permit PUBLIC HEARING <br />Teleport Inc. is requesting permission to install a 10 x 14 <br />equipment shelter in their communication compound at 6221 Holly <br />Drive. The structure will be used to house a battery bank, <br />baseboard heaters, an air conditioner, exhaust fans and power <br />disconnect for the battery bank. The property is Zoned Rural and <br />under an existing conditional use permit The Comprehensive Plan <br />indicates this property as rural. According to our Zoning <br />Ordinance, any changes or alterations to an existing conditional <br />use permit require and amended permit. <br />Staff has reviewed this request and visited the site. The complex <br />is entirely fenced in with a security gate and berming on the south <br />side to limited visibility of the complex and existing antennas. <br />The proposed building is to be located just west of the existing <br />block building and will not be visible from Holly Drive. We would <br />recommend approval of the amended conditional use permit with the <br />following conditions: <br />1. Ali conditions contained in the original and subsequent <br />conditional use permits be made a part of this permit <br />2. A building permit be issued prior to location of the <br />structure on the site. <br />.............. <br />VI() <br />1.
