STAFF ORIGINATOR
DATE
TOPIC
MwAS
AGENDA ITEM :ar: R
Mary Kay Wyland
November 3, 1993
Home Extended Business Ordinance
The Planning & Zoning Board will recall reviewing this item at a
previous P & Z Work Session. Publication has been made] for a
Public Hearing to review the Ordinance Addressing Home Extended
Businesses in the R -BR, Rural -Business Reserve, Zoning District.
However, the Ordinance relating to Interim Uses was not published
for this meeting - the Interim Use Ordinance will be reviewed at
the December P & Z Meeting.
The Home Extended Business Ordinance has been modified, as
recommended by the P & Z, to eliminate the original condition (v)
concerning 2,000 square feet of building or portion thereof, and by
adding to condition (ii) that up to two employees other than
immediate family members may be employed as part of the home
extended business.
With these modifications, staff would recommend adoption of this
Ordinance as presented. We would further suggested that the item
be held for Council review until after the Public Hearing on the
Interim Use Ordinance scheduled for the December 8th P & Z meeting.
1. Adopt Ordinance as proposed
Return to Staff for further consideration
