Council Member Kuether <br />its adoption: <br />introduced the following resolution and moved <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 95-136 <br />RESOLUTION CONCURRING WITH THE CITY OF HUGO'S REQUEST FOR A <br />SPEED STUDY ON ELMCREST AVENUE FROM MAIN STREET TO 129TH STREET. <br />WHEREAS, Elmcrest Avenue is a rural design roadway with a maximum speed limit of <br />55 mph, and <br />WHEREAS, Elmcrest Avenue has curves along its alignment that may require a <br />maximum speed limit of Tess than 55 mph , and <br />WHEREAS, a Hugo resident has requested a speed study, and <br />WHEREAS, portions of Elmcrest Avenue are within the City of Lino Lakes, and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Hugo has requested the Minnesota Department of <br />Transportation to conduct a speed study on Elmcrest Avenue <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The City of Lino Lakes concurs with the City of Hugo's request for a speed study <br />on Elmcrest Avenue from Main Street to 129th Street. <br />Adopted by the City Council this 9th day of October, 1 <br />Vernon F.
