Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 96-35 <br />RESOLUTION REQUESTING A SPEED STUDY ON TRUNK HIGHWAY 49 (LAKE <br />DRIVE) FROM SECOND AVENUE TO 35W. <br />WHEREAS, proposed and existing developments adjacent to Lake Drive have <br />increased traffic volumes, and; <br />WHEREAS, Centennial School District is proposing a middle school near Lake Drive, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, these proposed developments will create additional pedestrian and bicycle <br />traffic along Lake Drive to these developments, and; <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes is concerned about the high speed of traffic on <br />Lake Drive. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The City of Lino Lakes requests that a speed study on Lake Drive from Second <br />Avenue to 35W be completed. <br />Adopted by the City Council this 25th day of March, 1996. <br />JohnL.
