Council Member introduced the following ordinance and <br />moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1-95 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 4, SUBD. 29 FENCES AND <br />WALLS OF THE CITY ZONING ORDINANCE APPENDIX B1 <br />The City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, Minnesota <br />does ordain: <br />SECTION NO. 1. Section 4, Subd. 29 Fences and Walls, is hereby <br />deleted and replaced by the following: <br />Subd. 29. Fences and Walls. Fences and walls shall require a <br />building permit and shall be permitted in all yards subject to the <br />following: <br />(1) Prior to issuance of a building permit for any boundary <br />line fence, abutting property owners shall be notified. <br />2) Solid Walls (such as masonry construction) in excess of <br />forty-two (42) inches in height shall be prohibited. <br />(3) Fences in residential districts may be located in any yard <br />to a height of four (4) feet, except that a fence up to six <br />(6) feet in height may be erected from the ncarc3t roar corner <br />the t . of the principal building to the side and/or <br />rear lot line.
