AGENDA ITEM NO. 18B <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR Marilyn Anderson, Clerk -Treasurer <br />DATE <br />TOPIC <br />November 9, 1995 <br />Consideration of Resolution No. 95 - 148 <br />Authorizing Access to the Safe Deposit <br />Box at Firstar Bank of Minnesota, N.A. <br />(Lino Lakes Branch) <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The City of Lino Lakes has owned a Safety Deposit Box at the Lino Lakes <br />Branch of Firstar for as long as the bank has been in existence. Many <br />important documents are kept in the Safety Deposit Box and it has become <br />apparent that the current Box is no longer large enough. In addition, the <br />Finance Department would like to keep some of the computer backup disks in <br />the Safety Deposit Box. <br />I have applied for rental of a larger Safety Deposit Box. Firstar is requiring <br />that the City Council adopt a resolution authorizing access to the Safety <br />Deposit Box by myself, Accounts Payable Clerk, Joyce Lund and Finance <br />Director, Mary Vaske <br />OPTIONS <br />1. Adopt Resolution No. 95 - 148 Authorizing Access to the Safety <br />Deposit Box at Firstar Bank of Minnesota, N.A. (Lino Lakes Branch). <br />2. Return to staff for further information. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Option No. 1 <br />
