Council Member introduced the following <br />resolution and moved its adoption: <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION #95- 146 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION FROM THE CENTENNIAL FIRE DISTRICT <br />FOR THE $750.00 DONATED TO PURCHASE TWO SCHWINN MOUNTAIN BIKES <br />FOR PATROLLING OUR PARKS AND TRAILS. <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Police Department in <br />conjunction with the Lino Lakes Parks Department would like to <br />enhance our park and trail patrols; and <br />WHEREAS, the Bicycle Patrol Program would enhance the <br />Lino Lakes Police Department's Community Oriented Policing <br />Philosophy; and <br />WHEREAS, the Centennial Fire District Donated $750.00 <br />to the General Fund to offset the costs of purchasing two high <br />quality Mountain bikes, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Lino Lakes, that the City of Lino Lakes accepts the donation of <br />$750.00 for the Bicycle Patrol Program and wishes to express its <br />gratitude to the Centennial Fire District for its donation. <br />Passed by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, <br />Minnesota this 13th day of November, 1995. <br />Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />City Clerk <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Council Member and upon vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />The following voted against same: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
