AGENDA ITEM 8 <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR Dan Tesch, Assistant to the City Administrator <br />DATE 9 November 1995 <br />TOPIC <br />GROUND <br />City Logo <br />One of the recommendations out of the council's recent 20/20 Vision program <br />was that the City should try and make its symbols and logos more uniform. It was <br />further recommended that the City adopt (re -adopt) the Blue Heron at part of its <br />official logo. The Blue Heron designed being considered is one developed by the <br />City's Economic Development Department. <br />OPTIONS <br />....................... <br />1. Officially adopt the Blue Heron as part of the City logo <br />for application to letter head, signs, water towers etc... <br />Not adopt the le Heron as part of the City logo <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />1. <br />
