AGENDA ITEM NO. 9 <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR Marilyn Anderson, Clerk -Treasurer <br />DATE November 9, 1995 <br />TOPIC Consideration of a Request for an Off <br />Sale Liquor License for Brian Thorson (J <br />& K Liquors, 6013 Hodgson ) <br />J & K Liquors is in the process of being sold to Mr. Brian Thorson, a resident <br />of Ham Lake. Mr. Thorson has submitted all of the required application <br />information and a Police Department background investigation has been <br />completed. <br />Mr. Thorson is proposing the assume ownership of J & K Liquors on <br />December I , 1995. T am reconvnendiig that the City Council approve the <br />transfer of the off -sale liquor license to Mr. Thorson effective December 1, <br />1995 with the stipulation that the proper dram shop insurance certificate be <br />provided before that date. <br />OPTIONS <br />l Adopt a motion approving the transfer of the off -sale liquor license <br />with the stipulation that a dram shop certificate of insurance be <br />provided. <br />2.
