TOPIC <br />May 4 1995 <br />Consideration of a Petition Requesting an <br />Eonmental Assessment Worksheet (EAV <br />For Tr, <br />BtPP <br />The Envirornnental uality Board (ECM) received a petition requesting that an EAW be <br />prepared for the Tram`s Crossing project. This petition was forwarded to iiia City of <br />Lino Lakes on Mir 29, 1995 tor the City to decide on the need tor air EAW. The <br />petition was refend to SEH, the consultant assigned to this project, kr make a <br />recommendation regarding the petition. SEH has determined that preparation of an <br />EAW for this project is not mandatory. As the project is also not specifically exempted, <br />the City must decide in accordance with Minnesota Rules, Part 4410.1100, Start 6 <br />whether or not an EAW is to be prepared. Based on the SEH review of the petition it <br />appears the petition tails to demonstrate the project may have the potential for <br />significant environmental effects. Therefore, preparation of an EAW is not required. <br />Regardless of the City Cat is action on this matter. the c ricern . nrcrted by the nearby <br />residents at 'the May 3 City Council Work Session will be forwarded tot Wiper for <br />consideration dlurin final design of the Improvements.
