TOPIC May 4 1995 Consideration of a Petition Requesting an Eonmental Assessment Worksheet (EAV For Tr, BtPP The Envirornnental uality Board (ECM) received a petition requesting that an EAW be prepared for the Tram`s Crossing project. This petition was forwarded to iiia City of Lino Lakes on Mir 29, 1995 tor the City to decide on the need tor air EAW. The petition was refend to SEH, the consultant assigned to this project, kr make a recommendation regarding the petition. SEH has determined that preparation of an EAW for this project is not mandatory. As the project is also not specifically exempted, the City must decide in accordance with Minnesota Rules, Part 4410.1100, Start 6 whether or not an EAW is to be prepared. Based on the SEH review of the petition it appears the petition tails to demonstrate the project may have the potential for significant environmental effects. Therefore, preparation of an EAW is not required.
