AGENDA ITEM NO. 8B <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR John Powell, Acting City Engineer <br />DATE May 19, 1995 <br />TOPIC Resolution No. 95 - 61 Approving Plans and <br />Specification and Authorizing the <br />Advertisement for Bids for Municipal Well <br />No. 3 <br />On September 26, 1994, the City Council ordered plans and <br />specifications and authorized eminent domain for Municipal Well No. <br />3. This project was initiated at that time to insure that another <br />well was "on line" before the peak water use demand occurred in the <br />summer of 1995. SEH has submitted plans for the well construction, <br />the pumphouse construction will be bid separately and will begin <br />after the well digging is completed, about mid-August. The <br />construction schedule presented indicates this well will not be "on <br />line" for our peak demand. City staff will evaluate the options <br />for addressing the anticipated demand, will monitor actual demand, <br />and will bring appropriate recommendations to the City Council. <br />Approve Resolution No. 95 61 Approving the Plans and <br />Specifications and Authorizing Advertisement for Bids. <br />2.
