HIGHLIGHTS OF 1995 INTERNAL/CITY HALL GOALS <br />1. Personnel Policy Update - Now that the LLMA contract has been negotiated, <br />a major project for 1995 will be to update the Personnel Policy. <br />Statutory Mandates are being observed, but the document needs <br />to be reviewed and officially adopted by the City Council. <br />Adjustments in benefits for support staff to bring them into line <br />with bargaining units will also be accomplished through this. <br />JUNE 1995 <br />2. Bond Rating Adjustment <br />Now that we have built our cash reserve and reduced our debt Toad, we <br />would like to have our bond rating adjusted. <br />JULY 1995 <br />3. Efficiency in Government Committee <br />This committee will review every day practices in order to come up with <br />cost saving practices. <br />MID -MAY 1995 <br />4. Capital Facility Study <br />With our space crunch growing monthly, this committee will make <br />recommendations, both long and short term to alleviate this problem. <br />ON GOING <br />5. ADA Requirements <br />The City must continue to comply to the extent financially feasible. <br />SEPT. 1995 <br />6. Discussion of a Crime Prevention Specialist <br />The Council will determine what level of service is needed from the <br />Police Department in terms of the Community Service Officer. <br />MID -MAY 1995 <br />7. Hold a Sexual Harassment Seminar <br />This will go hand in hand with the adoption of a more elaborate program. <br />NOV 1995 <br />
