AGENDA ITEM 6C <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR David Ahrens, City Engineer <br />DATE August 25, 1995 <br />TOPIC Discussion of Silt Fencing and Related Issues <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Per Council direction, staff has requested the City's consulting engineer's to <br />provide a summary of grading activity and status of erosion control at the <br />Trapper's Crossing and the Clearwater Creek developments. The attached <br />letter from Steve Heth, P.E., SEH, Inc., states that a small amount of silt fence <br />on the north side of the project was damaged during recent rains and some <br />siltation into the Holly Drive ditch occurred. The attached memo from John <br />Powell, P.E., TKDA, Inc., states%that site grading is approximately 85% complete <br />and that a meeting was held with the developer and his engineer to include <br />additional erosion control measures on Clearwater Creek. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Information only -- no action required. <br />
