AGENDA NO. 8B <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR Marilyn Anderson, Clerk <br />DATE August 23, 1995 <br />TOPIC FIRST READING, Ordinance No. 15 - 95, <br />Modifying the Notice Requirements on Rezoning <br />and Metropolitan Urban Service Boundary Changes <br />BACKGROUND <br />Some citizens proposed an ordinance amending the current notice requirement on <br />rezoning and Metropolitan Urban Service boundary changes in the Lino Lakes City Code. <br />After several meetings with the citizens, language was proposed for the new ordinance <br />amendment. The attached draft ordinance includes language agreed upon by both the City <br />Council and the citizens group. <br />OPTIONS <br />1. Adopt the FIRST READING of Ordinance No. 15 - 95. <br />2. Return the Ordinance to stafffor further editing. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Option No. 1 <br />
