AGENDA ITEM 11B <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR Randy Schumacher, City Administrator <br />DATE 25 August 1995 <br />TOPIC Pretax Refunds <br />At the August 14 council meeting the City Council authorized excess pretax refunds <br />(up to $200.00) be applied to the city picnic. In a seperate motion, the council <br />authorized an additional $200.00be expended towards the city picnic. <br />The (up to $200.00) should have been applied to the second authorization for funds, <br />not the pretax refund. <br />The dollar amount in the pretax refund that should have been spent on the picnic is <br />$328.79. <br />The Council needs to approve the total amount of pretax refunds be applied to <br />city picnic. <br />
