STAFF ORIGINATOR <br />DATE <br />TOPIC <br />BACKGROUND <br />AGENDA ITEM 7 <br />David J Pecchia, Chief of Police <br />September 25, 1995 <br />Permanent Replacement for Police <br />Secretary <br />The Police Department has a full time clerical position <br />which has been held open since March 1995 for the <br />anticipated return of the employee. <br />This staff person has exhausted all vacation and sick time <br />accrued. The Family Medical Leave benefit has been <br />exhausted and the employee has been placed on an unpaid <br />Leave of Absence. The employee is not able to return to <br />work at this time and future prognosis is uncertain. <br />We request termination of said employee to enable us to fill <br />this position with a full time permanent employee. <br />OPTIONS <br />1.
