such candidacy interferes with such employee's normal duties of employment. If the needs <br />of City require, the vacancy created by such employee's absence may be filled and such <br />employee's services terminated. <br />If elected to public office, such employee may be required to resign or take a leave <br />of absence if the duties of such employee's elective office interfere with such employee's <br />duties as a City employee. <br />207.14 Legal Holidays <br />Regular full-time, regular part-time and probationary employees shall be entitled to <br />the holidays described herein. The amount of pay received by a regular part-time <br />employee for a holiday shall be computed by converting the employee's part-time <br />employment to equivalent adjusted full-time service. When a holiday fall on a Saturday, the preceding Friday shall be considered a <br />holiday. <br />In order to be eligible for paid holidays, employees must work on the day before <br />and the day after such holiday, unless on other paid or excused leave. <br />207.15 Vacation Leave <br />Vacation leave with pay is available to eligible employees to provide opportunities <br />for rest, relaxation, and personal pursuits.
