YMCA
Ms. Divine updated the board on the progress of the YMCA. A capital campaign
committee is being formed with the intent of raising up to $2 million.

DIGITAL COMMUNITIES
Ms. Divine updated the board on the Digital Communities concept. Ms. Schwartz said
she would help as a resource. Mr. F. Johnson said service providers and local ISPs should
be contacted. Mr. J. Johnson, Mr. B. Johnson, Ms. Schwartz and Mr. Jensen said they
would be willing to meet to strategize. Mr. Jensen said he didn’t see the need for the
consultant’s proposal.

CONTRACT HARDWARE
Ms. Divine stated that the company was building 18,000 SF in the Apollo Business Park.
The manufacturer of commercial door frames planned to be in by August.

FOGERTY DEVELOPMENT
Ms. Divine explained that Mr. Fogerty had purchased the Hawkins Chemical site to build
for additional leasable buildings. The clinic next door to the property was protesting the
rezone of the property from commercial to light industrial. Mr. F. Johnson noted that the
Fogerty buildings were more like office park buildings than industrial, and believed it was
a good use of the property. He was concerned that Mr. Fogerty was building too intensely
on the site. Ms. Schwartz noted that industrial development carries less value than
commercial. Mr. Jensen stated that light industrial makes sense with the rearrangement of
Apollo Drive.

Meeting adjourned, 8:30 a.m.
