EDAC members stated that Maple Grove was doing something similar. Ms. Divine noted
that this plan does not have the same objective as Maple Grove. EDAC members
requested a tour of the Maple Grove development. Ms. Divine said Mr. Wessel was
working on arranging it through the architect. It was the consensus that the June 1 EDAC
meeting would be entirely devoted to discussing the standards and that EDAC would
provide a representative at the June P&Z hearing.

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PLAN

Ms. Divine requested if it was EDAC’s wish to present the Economic Development Plan
and action plan at a council work session, and to bring forth the policy recommendations
in the plan for council consideration. Mr. Chase agreed this would be appropriate and set
a tentative appearance at the May 17 work session. Further discussion with Mr. Chase
over the presentation will be arranged.

EDAC OPEN SEATS

Ms. Divine explained that the city had received four applications for EDAC to fill Mr.
Fritz Johnson’s vacancy. Mr. Rehbein said he planned to resign because he was seldom
available for meetings. Mr. Milbauer moved to accept Mr. Rehbein’s resignation. Mr.
Gorowsky seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously. Ms. Carlson said she
thought it would be the administration staff’s prerogative to readvertise or select from the
current applicants.

COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARD

Ms. Divine passed out the award criteria and suggested if any members had someone they
would like to nominate to respond. Ms. Carlson explained there would be a nominating
committee comprised of different boards and EDAC should select a representative. Mr.
Milbauer moved to ask Ms. Schwartz if she would serve as the EDAC representative. Mr.
Gorowsky seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously.

Mr. Milbauer moved to adjourn. Mr. Juni seconded the motion. Motion carried
unanimously.

Meeting adjourned, 8:35 a.m.
