.06/20/96 THU 15:49 FAX <br />i-► + LINO LAKES 140013 <br />PLANNING & ZONING BOARD <br />NNE 12, 1996 <br />He intends to fence the property and request rezoning Staff recommends approval of the <br />rezoning of Parcel B to conform to the zoning of Parcel A. <br />Chair Schaps asked what type of equipment will be rented. <br />Ms. Wyland stated that lawn and garden equipment will be for rent, i.e., roto tillers, lawn <br />mowers, etc. <br />Mr. Carlson stated that there is an existing pole barn on the property which he plans to <br />remove to build a permanent structure at some later date. <br />Mr. Dunn asked if the rental equipment would be contained within a building, or stored <br />outside. <br />Mr. Carlson stated that there will be some outside storage. Screened fencing will prevent <br />visibility of the site. <br />Ms. Wyland noted that a Conditional Use Permit for outside storage is required, and the <br />applicant will have to come back to the Board for its approval. <br />Mr. Gelbmann made a MOTION to approve the minor <br />conditions: Y ` o . <br />Tract A and B shall be combined to provide for one <br />parcel. <br />2. No park dedication shall be required as no additional structures are proposed to be <br />constructed. <br />3. The applicant shall apply for rezoning of Tract B prior to any additional land use <br />applications.. <br />Mr. Johnson seconded the motion. The motion carried 6-0, with Mr. Robinson abstaining. <br />H. 96-20-PDO/Rezone, Bruce Hanson, Surfside Seaplane Base, Rezoning, Planned <br />Development Overlay and Preliminary Plat <br />City Planning Consultant, Bob Kermis stated that Mr. Hanson has submitted plans for five <br />single family lots with access to the Surfside Seaplane Base. With this application is a <br />proposal to rezone 11 acres to R 1X from General Business to build the homes. The Hansons <br />intend to retain the existing General Business portion shown as Lot 7 along Lake Drive.
