PROFESSIONAL LAW ENFORCEMENT DIVISION <br />3001 University Avenue S.E. • Minneapolis, Minnesota 55414 • Phone (612) 331-3873 <br />June 26, 1996 <br />Mr. Randall Schumacher, City Administrator <br />City of Lino Lakes <br />1189 Main Street <br />Lino Lakes, MN 55014-2123 <br />Dear Mr. Schumacher: <br />Monday, June 24, 1996, a Union meeting was held and the members present ratified <br />the following agreement contingent upon majority approval. That evening I received <br />a call from Steward, Sal Costa, informing me that he had the majority of the <br />membership in favor of the proposal. <br />• DURATION. A three (3) year contract effective 1/1/96 through 12/31/98 <br />• <br />WAGES. January 1, 1996 - (2%) <br />July 1, 1996 (2%) <br />January 1, 1997 - (2.9%) <br />January 1, 1998 - (2.9%) <br />The group separately ratified an agreement to participate in the Teamsters <br />Delta Dental Plan with the understanding that the City agrees to pay $6.00 of <br />the $33.00 per month toward the insurance coverage. <br />HEALTH & WELFARE. The City agrees to a cash out payment equivalent to <br />the premium for single health coverage to those employees that can prove that <br />they have health coverage under a spouse's plan. <br />VACATION. The City agrees to a 240 -hour cap in vacation accumulation. The <br />City also agreed with the Union's clarification that this 240 -hour cap in vacation <br />applies to all employees and may be carried over from one year into the next <br />regardless of the years of service. <br />SERVICE WITH DIGNITY <br />
