AGENDA ITEM NO. 5 <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR Randy Schumacher, City Administrator <br />DATE August 23, 1996 <br />TOPIC Consideration of Recommo <br />Environmental Affairs Co <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The City Council has authorized the creation of an environmental affairs committee based <br />on the recommendation of the 20/20 Visioning Plan. Representatives from the Planning <br />and Toning Board and the 20/20 environmental committee interviewed applicants for the <br />committee. The following individuals have been recommended: <br />Full Membership <br />J. P. Houchins, Lori Frisk -Thompson, Eugene Lane, Rod Kukonen, Amy Doi <br />Maurine Davidson and Mike Trehaus. <br />Non -Voting Alternates: <br />Paul Montain and Tom Green. <br />Non -Voting Technical Advisors <br />Patricia Tuns and Art Hawkins <br />** NOTE: When the City Council authorized the creation of this committee, it was <br />recommended that the first order of business be the establishment of bylaws and a one <br />year work plan with an associated budget. <br />OPTION <br />1. Appoint as presented. <br />2. Add io list of applicants. <br />interview committee. <br />
