GRQUND; <br />part of the Ware Road Lift Station/Interceptor project whichn Council <br />has under contract, the north side of Ash Street (County Road J} from T.H.49 to the <br />west will be disturbed by construction. At the same time, the Shorevinr Covenant <br />Church site plan calls for a wa ermain to be extended from Oakwood Lane to provide <br />water service to the new church. These projects provide the City of Lino Lakes with an <br />opportunity to upgrade the water system in this area of the City at a reduced cost. The <br />proposed upgrade is the installation of a watermain from T.H.49 to the west limit of the <br />Shoreview Covenant Church site along the north side of Ash Street. The topographic <br />data gathered by the Metropolitan Council will be used for the construction plan <br />preparation and the pie installation will be completed while the area is disturbed by the <br />Metropolitan Council project, two measures which should reduce project costs. The <br />preparation of the construction plans should be substantially completed in time for <br />Monday's Clty Council meeting. The bids will be received on September 17, 1996 and <br />a recommendation regarding award will be brought to the City Council on September <br />23, 1996. <br />August 23, 1996 <br />Consideration of Resolution 96-97 <br />Approve the Plans and Specifications and Order the <br />Advertisement for Bids.
