August 1996 <br />Anoka County Board of Commissioners <br />Anoka County Government Center <br />2100 3rd Avenue <br />Anoka, MN 55303 <br />Dear Anoka County Commissioners: <br />On behalf of the City of , I am writing in <br />support of the Anoka County Conference on Children and Youth <br />which will be held on April 30th and May 1, 1997 at the <br />Blaine National Sports Center. <br />The purpose of the Conference is to act as a catalyst to <br />inspire adults to get involved in children's lives, to <br />inform participants regarding current data on Anoka County <br />youth and resources for youth, and provide a means to unify <br />around building assets into the lives of children and youth <br />through our communities. <br />Children and youth are Anoka County's greatest resource. <br />They need the whole community's support that includes not <br />only city and county government but businesses, faith <br />communities, health care organizations, neighborhoods, <br />senior organizations, schools, and community organizations. <br />We urge and support the realization of the Anoka County <br />Conference on Children and Youth, and encourage the positive <br />development and building of shared values around our next <br />generation. <br />Sincerely, <br />Mayor, City of <br />
