AGENDA ITEM 9B <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: David Ahrens, City Engineer/Public Works Dior <br />DATE: September 19, 1996 <br />TOPIC: Resolution 96-127, Request for No Parking Signs on Main treet at <br />Aenon Place <br />BACKGROUND: <br />During large events at Lino Lakes Elementary School, overflow parking occurs <br />on Main Street near Aenon Place. The overflow parking causes problems since <br />it occurs within the right turn lane and may be causing site distance problems at <br />the intersection of Main Street and Aenon Place. The attached resolution <br />requests that the County of Anoka install no parking signs at the intersection to <br />address these problems. The attached location map illustrates the location of <br />the proposed no parking zone. <br />OPTIONS: <br />1. Return to staff for further review <br />2. Adopt Resolution No. 96-127, requesting Anoka County to install no parking <br />signs at Main Street and Aenon Place. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recornr nds that Resolution No. 96-127 be adopted. <br />
