CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT <br />ADVISORY COMMITTEE <br />MINUTES <br />DATE: July 13, 2017 <br />MEMBERS <br />PRESENT: Thomas Colgan, Jim Schueller, Nathan Vojtech, Michael Ruhland, <br />Don Johnson, Lou Masonick, Patrick Kohler <br />MEMBERS <br />ABSENT: Julie Schwartz, Chad Wagner, <br />OTHERS PRESENT: Michael Grochala, Joe Widing <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />It was moved by Mr. Vojtech to approve the minutes from May 04, 2017. The motion was <br />seconded by Mr. Schueller and passed unanimously. <br />DISCUSSION ITEMS <br />A. 2040 Comprehensive Plan Update <br />i. Review May 15, 2017 Joint Meeting Summary, Open House and City Survey <br />Information <br />ii. Review land use study areas <br />Mr. Grochala presented the staff report. The report displayed the survey results from the <br />city's survey for the comprehensive plan. Mr. Masonick stated that the current state of the <br />city's roads is the most commented to him by residents. <br />Mr. Grochala presented study areas that are being proposed for further review for the <br />comprehensive plan for the committee to discuss. <br />Study area IA - Hodgson Road and County Road J <br />Mr. Masonick asked if there is anything proposed for the 49 Club site. Mr. Grochala <br />explained that there has been some inquiries, but nothing proposed. The site has good <br />transportation. He added that water and sewer still need to be extended to service the area. <br />Mr. Masonick asked if sewer could be provided by Shoreview. <br />
