AGENDA ITEM 3C <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: David Ahrens, Public Works Director/City Engineer <br />DATE: December 5, 1996 <br />TOPIC: Resolution No. 96-154, Designation of Municipal State Aid Street, <br />Fourth Avenue from Lilac Street to Correctional Facility <br />BACKGROUND <br />On November 11, 1996, Council adopted Resolution No. 96-147 agreeing to the <br />change in jurisdiction of a portion of Fourth Avenue from State to City. The <br />change in jurisdiction allows the City to place this segment of street on the City <br />Municipal State Aid System (MSAS). Per State Statute the mileage of this street <br />segment is above the City's normal 20% cap on MSAS mileage. The attached <br />resolution places the segment of Trunk Highway 49 from Lilac Street to the <br />Correctional Facility entrance on the City's Municipal State Aid System. <br />OPTIONS: <br />1. Return to staff for further review <br />2. Adopt Resolution No. 96-154 <br />REQ NATION; <br />Option 2. <br />
