CITY COUNCIL <br />AGENDA ITEM 1D <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Lisa Hogstad-Osterhues, Deputy Clerk <br />MEETING DATE: July 10, 2017 <br />TOPIC: Resolution No. 17-69, Approving a Peddler License for <br />Heartland Roofing & Siding <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 <br />BACKGROUND <br />Heartland Roofing and Siding, 716 Taylor Lane, Madrid, IA has submitted a peddler's <br />license application to the city clerk's office. The company representatives who will be <br />working in Lino Lakes are Matthew Stever, Chad Bateson and Bryan Linnemeyer. The <br />group plans to travel through the Lino Lakes' neighborhoods setting up appointments for <br />free estimates for window, siding, roofing, etc. <br />The City has received all the necessary forms required to issue this company a license. <br />The Lino Lakes Public Safety Department has performed background checks and <br />indicated no reason to deny the application. <br />The application and all other required information is on file in the city clerk's office for <br />review. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Approve Resolution No. 17-69, Approving the issuance of a peddler license for Heartland <br />Roofing & Siding for a six month period commencing July 11, 2017. <br />
