CITY COUNCIL <br />AGENDA ITEM 111 <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Lisa Hogstad-Osterhues, Deputy Clerk <br />MEETING DATE: July 10, 2017 <br />TOPIC: Resolution No. 17-71, Approving a Peddler License for <br />Aspen Contracting <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 <br />BACKGROUND <br />Aspen Contracting, 4141 NE Lakewood Way, Lee Summit, MO has submitted a <br />peddler's license application to the city clerk's office. The company representatives who <br />will be working in Lino Lakes are Abraham Peralta, Anthony Malone, Aaron Long <br />Christopher Straub, James Vogeli, Erich Rabenold, Gary Infante and Paige LaRue. The <br />group plans to travel through the Lino Lakes' neighborhoods setting up appointments for <br />free estimates for window, siding, roofing, etc. <br />The City has received all the necessary forms required to issue this company a license. <br />The Lino Lakes Public Safety Department has performed background checks and <br />indicated no reason to deny the application. <br />The application and all other required information is on file in the city clerk's office for <br />review. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Approve Resolution No. 17-71, Approving the issuance of a peddler license for Aspen <br />Contracting for a six month period commencing July 11, 2017. <br />
