Advisory Board Appointment Process—Administrator Karlson noted that the city <br /> 17 has received three additional applications since the process was reopened. The council <br /> 18 should now determine the process for interviews and selection. <br /> 19 <br /> 20 The council concurred that they would interview all candidates. Since there are still <br /> 21 opportunities for EDAC appointments, the city will continue accepting applications for <br /> 22 that group. <br /> 23 <br /> 24 The council will hold a special work session on January 30, 2012 to interview the <br /> 25 applicants. <br /> 26 <br /> 27 2. Decision Resources Statewide Survey - Administrator Karlson distributed a survey <br /> 28 document that he received at a recent manager's association meeting. The survey <br /> 29 indicated responses from Minnesotans on questions related to policies, politics and local <br /> 30 governments. <br /> 31 <br /> 32 3. Review Regular City Council Agenda of January 23, 2012- <br /> 33 <br /> 34 The mayor noted that he would be amending the agenda to make a public announcement <br /> 35 of the Police Department CERT Blood Drive on February 18. <br /> 36 <br /> 37 Item 6A—6A. Beverage Bottling and Production: 2°' Reading of Ordinance No. 01- <br /> 38 12, Amending Sections 1, 7, and 8 of the Zoning Ordinance to included uses such as <br /> 39 Beverage Production and Bottling, Brewers Taproom, and Brew Pubs within <br /> 40 certain zoning districts; and Resolution No. 12-09, authorizing summary publication <br /> 41 of Ordinance No. 01-12. <br /> 42 <br /> 43 City Planner Bengtson reviewed the ordinance that adds brewery functions and accessory <br /> 44 uses to certain areas of the zoning ordinance.
