COUNCIL MINUTES June 11,2012 <br /> APPROVED <br /> 46 <br /> 47 May 21,2012 Special Council Session Minutes Approved <br /> 48 <br /> 49 Accept Resignation of Payroll/Accounts Payable <br /> 50 Technician Kim Fread Approved <br /> 51 <br /> 52 FINANCE DEPARTMENT REPORT <br /> 53 <br /> 54 There was no report from the Finance Department. <br /> 55 <br /> 56 ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT REPORT <br /> 57 <br /> 58 3A) Resolution No. 12-48,Approving renewal of Liquor,Wine, Beer and Dance licenses—City <br /> 59 Clerk Bartell reported that liquor, wine, beer and dance licenses in the City of Lino Lakes are issued <br /> 60 annually and will expire on June 30, 2012. Staff has provided to the council a list of the <br /> 61 establishments that have submitted renewal applications. The applicants are responsible for <br /> 62 providing information and documentation to meet state and local requirements for their licenses. The <br /> 63 Police Department completes background investigations on the applicants and has indicated no new <br /> 64 information that would lead to a recommendation of denial of any of the renewal requests. Staff is <br /> 65 recommending that the council approve the renewal of liquor,wine,beer and dance licenses as <br /> 66 presented. <br /> 67 <br /> 68 Council Member Rafferty moved to approve Resolution No. 12-48 as presented. Council Member <br /> 69 Stoesz seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. <br /> 70 <br /> 71 PUBLIC SAFETY DEPARTMENT REPORT <br /> 72 <br /> 73 There was no report from the Public Safety Department. <br /> 74 <br /> 75 PUBLIC SERVICES DEPARTMENT REPORT <br /> 76 <br /> 77 There was no report from the Public Services Department. <br /> 78 <br /> 79 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT REPORT <br /> 80 <br /> 81 6A) 2012 Annual Street Maintenance Projects: <br /> 82 <br /> 83 i. Resolution No. 12-46,Accepting Bids and Awarding a Construction Contract for the <br /> 84 2012 Overlay Project—City Engineer Wedel reported that the bid process for this year's Overlay <br /> 85 Project has been completed and the low bid being recommended for approval comes from North <br /> 86 Metro Asphalt& Contracting. The bid is under the engineer's estimate. He utilized a map to show <br /> 87 the council what streets are planned for overlay this year. <br /> 88 <br /> 89 Council Member Roeser moved to approve Resolution No. 12-46 as presented. Council Member <br /> L 90 Rafferty seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. <br /> 2 <br />
