Draft#1: <br />Section 1.04. Charter Commission. The City's Charter <br />Commission shall study the City and propose amendments to <br />the City Charter, under the requirements of the Statutes of the <br />State of Minnesota, and/or disseminate information regarding <br />such proposals. The Charter Commission members shall <br />receive no compensation, and shall be comprised of 15 <br />members who are appointed by the District Judge. Upon <br />expiring terms and other vacancies, the Charter Commission <br />Chair shall receive applications for appointment and submit <br />them to the District Judge. The Commission may employ the <br />legal and professional services necessary to its functions, the <br />reasonable cost of which, when directed by the Commission, <br />shall be paid for by the City, not to exceed the monetary <br />limitation set by the Minnesota Legislature. <br />Draft #2 <br />Section 1.04.
