Charter Commission <br />August 6, 2009 <br />Page 3 <br />87 Commissioner Gunderson requests the Chair to call the question. <br />88 <br />89 Motion passes with Commissioners Drennen and Sutherland voting no and Commissioner <br />90 Trehus abstains. <br />91 <br />92 C. Update from Commissioner Trehus on the Ballot Question, Newsletter, Ballot <br />93 Language and Related Funding <br />94 <br />95 Commissioner Trehus stated that Commissioner Drennen presented a report drafted by <br />96 subcommittee to the State Auditor's office regarding the ballot language, city newsletter and <br />97 related city funding for the 2008 charter amendment referendum. <br />98 <br />99 MOTION by Commission Trehus, seconded by Commissioner Gunderson, that the Chair attach a <br />100 copy of the report sent to the State Auditor to the annual report to the District Judge. <br />101 Commissioner Trehus states the District Judge is the Commission's authority. <br />102 <br />103 Motion passes unanimously. <br />104 <br />105 NEW BUSINESS <br />106 <br />107 The next meeting of the Charter Commission will be Thursday, October 8, 2009 at 6:30pm. <br />X08 <br />109 ADJOURN <br />110 MOTION by Commissioner Zastrow, seconded by Commissioner Sutherland, to adjourn the <br />111 meeting at 9:10p.m. Motion carried unanimously. <br />112 <br />113 <br />114 Respectfully Submitted, <br />115 <br />116 Kelly Gunderson <br />117 Secretary <br />
