How to Initiate Public Improvements for Which Special Assessments May Be <br />122 Imposed <br />123 <br />124 Chair Duffy requested subd. 3 and subd. 4 be amended to replace the word "may" with the word <br />125 "shall" to read "the City Council shall...". <br />126 <br />127 Chair Duffy requested the last sentence in subd. 5 also be amended to replace the word "may" <br />128 with the word "shall" to read "the City Council shall adopt a resolution...". <br />129 <br />130 Commissioner Trehus stated he respectfully disagreed with Chair Duffy and felt it should remain <br />131 "may." <br />132 <br />133 Chair Duffy agreed and stated it should be left "may." <br />3 <br />
