Council Member Gtril t, <br />moved for adoption of the following resolution: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 07-84 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING FEASIBILITY REPORT AND CALLING FOR A PUBUC <br />HEARING — WEST SHADOW LAKE DRIVE STREET, STORM SEWER, SANITARY <br />SEWER, AND WATERMAIN IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to resolutions of the Council adopted May 14, 2007, a study has <br />been prepared by the City Engineer, with reference to West Shadow Lake Drive Street <br />Improvement project for West Shadow Lake Drive from Birch Street to Northern <br />Terminus, Shadow Court, and Sandpiper Drive by constructing street, storm sewer, <br />sanitary sewer, trail, watermain, and this report was -received by the Council on June 11, <br />June 11, 2007, and <br />WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is <br />necessary, cost-effective, and feasible, <br />WHEREAS, the City proposes to assess the benefited property for all or a portion of the <br />cost of the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota States, Chapter 429, and Chapter 8 of <br />the Lino Lakes City Charter. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The City Engineer is designated as the engineer for this improvement and he is <br />directed to call for a public hearing for the West Shadow Lake Drive Street, Storm <br />Sewer, Sanitary Sewer and Watermain Improvement project. <br />2. The Council will consider the improvement of such street in accordance with the <br />report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the <br />improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost <br />of the improvement of $5,583,000.00. <br />3. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the <br />9th day of July, 2007 in the Council chambers of the City Hall at 6:30 p.m..and the <br />clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as <br />required by law. <br />i(/ l <br />n e Bartell, City <br />ergeson, Mayor <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 11th day of June, 2007. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing -resolution pas duly seconded by Council <br />Member Reinertand upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: Stoltz, Reinert, O'Donnell, Carlson <br />The following voted against same: <br />none (mayor Bergeson abstainer <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />--5 z�- <br />
