Memorandum <br />Date: October 4, 2007 <br />To: Charter Commission <br />From: Gordon Heitke <br />Re: Quarterly Update <br />Five Year Financial Plan <br />The annual update of the Five Year Financial Plan is currently underway. Adoption of <br />the plan is to occur in December. <br />Public Improvement Petitions <br />The City received a petition opposing the proposed Shenandoah Area street <br />reconstruction project with a sufficient number of signatures to stop the project from <br />proceeding. <br />Street Reconstruction <br />In the absence of an opposing petition, the Council has approved the West Shadow Lake <br />Drive reconstruction question for the ballot in November 2007. Two open house <br />informational meetings will be held to explain the proposed West Shadow Lake Drive <br />reconstruction project on October 24th and October 30th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at City <br />Hall. <br />
