Charter Commission <br />February 21, 2013 <br />Page 3 <br />91 beginning of the meeting, he said that what was being proposed by the Mayor did not align with <br />92 what they had discussed. <br />93 MOTION by Commissioner Trehus, seconded by Commissioner Turcotte, to deny the agenda as <br />94 proposed by the Mayor and to propose the one proposed by the Chair. <br />95 That agenda is as follows: After the Charter Commission is done with the vote, if it is voted <br />96 down and no Commissioner has anything to add to the Council's Charter amendment, the <br />97 amendment fails. Any further consideration by one or more Charter Commissioners will require <br />98 a formal request to the Charter Commission for reviewing the City Council's 2012 proposed <br />99 Charter amendment. This concludes the joint meeting between the City Council and the Charter <br />100 Commission. The purpose of the meeting is consideration of adoption by ordinance the Charter <br />101 amendment as proposed by the City Council to the voters in 2012. <br />102 <br />103 After a brief break the meeting reconvened at 8:13 p.m. <br />104 Motion passes with 2 opposed. <br />105 ADJOURN <br />106 <br />107 MOTION by Commissioner Bartsch, seconded by Commissioner Turcotte, to adjourn the <br />108 meeting at 8:35 pm.
