CITY COUNCIL <br />AGENDA ITEM 6B <br /> <br /> <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Katie Larsen <br /> <br />MEETING DATE: January 9, 2017 <br /> <br />TOPIC: Consider Resolution No. 17-03 Approving Site <br />Improvement Performance Agreement for Eagle Liquors <br />(Marketplace Retail Building B) <br /> <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br /> <br />Galleon, LLC received administrative site plan approval for a proposed retail building (liquor <br />store) and potential restaurant in Marketplace on Apollo Drive. The master site plan for <br />Marketplace refers to this location as Retail B and is located north of Subway and east of Dairy <br />Queen. <br /> <br />Per Section 1007.020 Site and Building Plan Review: <br /> <br />(1) General. All site and building plans for multiple family, commercial, industrial or <br />public/semi-public uses shall require review and approval by the Community Development <br />Department. <br /> <br />(5) Performance Standards. (d) The applicant shall, upon completion of site and building plan <br />review, submit to the City an agreement that they will cause all improvements called for in the <br />site and building plan review to be completed within the time specified by the City. Performance <br />of such contracts shall be secured by the amount submitted at application or additional amount as <br />may be required by the City Council. <br /> <br />The attached Site Improvement Performance Agreement addresses the site improvements for the <br />building and provides for submittal of all required fees and securities. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />Staff recommends approval of Resolution No. 17-03. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS <br /> <br />1.
