This would be <br />subsequent to the City Council awarding the construction contract for the project to North Valley Inc. <br />in the amount of $492,673.18. <br /> <br />Our construction services scope of work includes the following tasks: <br /> <br />• Contract Administration <br />• Construction Observation <br />• Construction Staking <br />• Materials Testing Coordination <br /> <br />The engineering fee to complete the 2017 Mill and Overlay Improvement Project, on an hourly not to <br />exceed basis, is as follows: <br /> <br /> Contract Administration ................ $ 12,023 <br /> Construction Inspection Services .. $ 24,792 (Staking $4,236 included) <br /> Material Testing Coordination ...... $ 2,068 <br /> Total Fee $ 38,883 <br /> <br />Our construction observation fees are estimated hourly, based on part time inspection of twenty (20) <br />hours per week, and the contractor substantially completing the work in approximately eight (8) <br />weeks. We will work diligently with the City and the contractor to ensure a timely schedule is kept <br />in accordance with the plans and specifications. WSB & Associates assumes the City will coordinate <br />a City hired sub-consultant to provide the materials testing services required for the project, but the <br />responsibility to coordinate and schedule these activities in a timely manner is included in WSB’s <br />scope of work. <br />
