<br />CITY COUNCIL <br />AGENDA ITEM 1E <br /> <br /> <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Lisa Hogstad-Osterhues, Deputy City Clerk <br />MEETING DATE: June 12, 2017 <br />TOPIC Consider Resolution No. 17-56, Approving <br />2017-2018 Tobacco License Renewals <br /> <br />VOTE REQUIRED: Simple Majority (3/5 Vote Required) <br /> <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION <br /> <br />All tobacco licenses in the City of Lino Lakes expire on June 30, 2017. Staff has been working <br />with the license holders to put in place all renewal requirements to allow for Council <br />consideration at this time. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br /> <br />Attached is a list of the establishments that have submitted renewal applications. As indicated, <br />the applicants have completed the necessary documentation and paid the fee that is required for <br />the license. <br /> <br />The Lino Lakes Public Services Department performs the investigation and reports any <br />information that would make applicants ineligible for license renewal. Each license is <br />contingent upon the background investigation. <br /> <br />No license will be released until all requirements are met. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />Adopt Resolution 17-56, approving renewal of tobacco licenses for the period of July 1, 2017 <br />through June 30, 2018. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS <br /> <br />Resolution 17-56 <br />2017-18 Tobacco License Renewal List
