The council is being asked to consider granting 12 weeks of severance pay <br /> 274 to those employees affected by position elimination. <br /> 275 <br /> 276 Council Member Roeser moved to approve Resolution No. 11-88 as presented. Resolution No. 11-92, Amendment to General Obligation Improvement Note of 2009 and <br /> 291 Amendment to Joint Powers Agreement with Anoka County; <br /> :92 ii. Resolution No. 11-93, Declaring Costs to be Assessed and Ordering Preparation of Proposed <br /> X293 Assessments <br /> 294 <br /> 295 Community Development Director Grochala reported that this is an interchange project that is being <br /> 296 managed by Anoka County and it has come in considerably under the original cost estimate. <br /> 297 Therefore staff is requesting that the city's portion of the General Obligation Note issued for the <br /> 298 project by Anoka County be reduced from $4,260,000 to $3,695,000 and that the joint powers <br /> 299 agreement with Anoka County that relates to the project be amended as well. <br /> 300 <br /> 301 Council Member O'Donnell moved to approve Resolution No. 11-92 as presented. Council Member <br /> 302 Roeser seconded the motion. Motion carried on a unanimous voice vote. <br /> 303 <br /> 304 Community Development Director Grochala explained that the project costs for the city's share of the <br /> 305 interchange project will be assessed to benefited property owners. Since the project costs have been <br /> 306 reduced greatly, the proposed assessment is also less. Staff proposes to proceed with the process for <br /> 307 assessments. <br /> 308 <br /> 309 Council Member Gallup moved to approve Resolution No. 11-93 as presented. Council Member <br /> 310 Rafferty seconded the motion. Motion carried on a unanimous voice vote. <br /> 311 <br /> 312 6B) Resolution No. 11-94,Approving the 2030 Comprehensive Plan Update—Community <br /> 313 Development Director Grochala reviewed the multi-year process, including citizen input elements, <br /> _314 that has gone into the proposed Comprehensive Plan Update.
