CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 17-82 <br />Resolution Approving Centennial High School Boosters <br />Application to Conduct Off-site Gambling <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 349, Section 349.165, Subd. 5, allows licensed <br />organizations to conduct up to 12 off site Gambling events in a calendar year. <br />WHEREAS, the Centennial High School Boosters has submitted an application to <br />conduct Off-site Gambling; and <br />WHEREAS, the Centennial High School Boosters is eligible to conduct lawful off-site <br />gambling under the city's regulations; and <br />WHEREAS, the Centennial High School Boosters is exempt for paying a fee for this <br />permit, and <br />WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board requires that the applications be approved by <br />the City of Lino Lakes City Council before submitting for approval; <br />WHEREAS, the application is contingent on the background check submitted to the <br />Public Safety Department on behalf of the Centennial High School Boosters. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by The City Council of The City of Lino Lakes, <br />Minnesota: <br />That the Lino Lakes City Council hereby approves the request of the Centennial High School <br />Boosters to conduct a raffle at Chomonix Golf Course on Sunday, September 24, 2017. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 14th day of August, 2017. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />Maher and was duly seconded by Council Member Rafferty and upon vote <br />being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />M'her, Rafferty, Kusterman, Manthey, Reine <br />The following voted against same: <br />none <br />ATTEST: <br />llk <br />ne : artell, City CI <br />Jeff Reine ayor <br />
