CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 17-90 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WATER STORAGE SITING STUDY AND <br />AUTHORIZING GEOTECHNICAL EVALUATION <br />WHEREAS, the City's water system is in need of additional water storage to maintain American <br />Water Works Association standards for system pressure and supply, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council, on December 12, 2016 authorized a Water Storage Siting Study <br />to evaluate the location and type of storage necessary to provide system improvements in the <br />most cost-effective manner; and <br />WHEREAS, WSB and Associates, the City Engineer, has completed said report <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by The City Council of The City of Lino Lakes <br />that the Water Storage Siting Study, dated August 7, 2017 is hereby accepted. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that staff is authorized to execute a proposal with WSB and <br />Associates, for Geotechnical Evaluation on the potential tower sites in the amount of $15,800. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 28th day of August, 2017. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />Manthey and was duly seconded by Council Member Kusterman and upon <br />vote beingtaken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Manhey, Kusterman, Maher, Rafferty, Reinert <br />The following voted against same: <br />none <br />ATTEST: <br />"u-liahne Bartell, Cit <br />
