Consider approval of Resolution No. 10-54, Accepting a donation of$2,000 from <br /> 147 Minnesota Metro North Tourism for promotion of Blue Heron Days—Economic Development <br /> 148 Coordinator Divine explained that the city is receiving a donation from the Minnesota Metro North <br /> 149 Tourism group that will support the city's Blue Heron Days parade and festival. The funds will be <br /> 150 used to refurbish the city's float as well as advertising and expansion of family focused events. The <br /> 151 resolution before the council authorizes the acceptance of the donated funds. <br /> 152 <br /> 153 Counciol Member Roeser moved to approve Resolution No. 10-54 as presented. Zoning Ordinance Amendment—Accessory Structures and Buildings <br /> 157 Consider Second Reading of Ordinance No. 08-10,Amending the Zoning Ordinance <br /> 158 regulations for Accessory Buildings and Structures - City Planner Bengtson reviewed his written <br /> 159 report and ordinance,noting that the council directed staff to initiate this amendment that will allow <br /> 160 more equitable consideration of accessory structures based on property size. First reading of the <br /> 161 ordinance was approved by the council on June 14, 2010. <br /> 162 <br /> 163 Council Member O'Donnell moved to approve second reading and adoption of Ordinance No. 08-10 <br /> 164 as presented. Council Member Roeser seconded the motion. Consider Authorizing Preparation of Plans and Specifications,2010 Surface Water <br /> 173 Management Project—City Engineer Studenski explained that the city has a plan for periodic <br /> 174 maintenance of storm sewers, storm water ponds and drainage ways to ensure their effectiveness. <br /> 175 The proposed 2010 Surface Water Management Project will consist of cleaning and repair of these <br /> 76 systems in identified areas. He reviewed the project schedule and noted that the resolution before the <br /> 177 council would authorize preparation of plans and specifications for the project. <br /> 4 <br />
