COUNCIL MINUTES January 26, 2009 <br /> APPROVED <br /> 91 A) Resolution No. 09-06, Accepting 2009 Environmental Board Goals—Environmental <br /> 92 Coordinator Asleson introduced Board Vice Chairperson Barbara Bor who reviewed the <br /> 93 Environmental Board's proposed goals for 2009. <br /> 94 <br /> 95 A council member commended the Board on recognizing the need to perform evaluations of <br /> 96 their past recommendations relative to development projects. That information should be shared <br /> 97 with the council also. <br /> 98 <br /> 99 Council Member O'Donnell moved to approve Resolution No. 09-06 as presented. Council <br /> 100 Member Reinert seconded the motion. Motion carried; Council Members Stoltz and Gallup were <br /> 101 absent. <br /> 102 <br /> 103 B) Resolution No. 09-07,Approving Anoka County agreement for Residential Recycling <br /> 104 Program - Environmental Coordinator Asleson explained that staff is requesting council <br /> 105 authority to execute a contract with Anoka County to continue the city's receipt of SCORE funds <br /> 106 that are used to fund solid waste recycling programs. <br /> 107 <br /> 108 Council Member Reinert moved to approve Resolution No. 09-07 as presented. Council <br /> 109 Member O'Donnell seconded the motion. Motion carried; Council Members Stoltz and Gallup <br /> 110 were absent. <br /> 111 <br /> 112 C) First Reading of Ordinance No. 01-09, amending the Zoning Ordinance <br /> ' 13 definition of the term Private Kennel—City Planner Bengtson presented an ordinance to <br /> '---1 14 update the city's zoning code to include the correct definition of a private kennel in line with the <br /> 115 council's recent action approving a change to the animal control regulations. Staff is requesting <br /> 116 first reading of this ordinance that has already been approved by the Planning and Zoning Board. <br /> 117 <br /> 118 Council Member O'Donnell moved to dispense with full reading of the ordinance. Council <br /> 119 Member Reinert seconded the motion. Motion carried; Council Members Stoltz and Gallup were <br /> 120 absent. <br /> 121 <br /> 122 Council Member O'Donnell moved to approve the first reading of Ordinance No. 01-09 as <br /> 123 presented. Council Member Reinert seconded the motion. A roll call vote was taken.
