CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION May 26, 2009 <br /> APPROVED <br /> 1 CITY OF LINO LAKES <br /> ■... 2 MINUTES <br /> 3 <br /> 4 DATE : May 26, 2009 <br /> 5 TIME STARTED : 5:32 p.m. <br /> 6 TIME ENDED : 5:45 p.m. <br /> 7 MEMBERS PRESENT : Council members Gallup, O'Donnell, <br /> 8 and Mayor Bergeson <br /> 9 MEMBERS ABSENT : Council members Stoltz, Reinert <br /> 10 <br /> 11 <br /> 12 Staff members present: Director of Administration, Dan Tesch; Director of Public Safety, <br /> 13 Dave Pecchia; Police Sergeant, Kent Strege; City Clerk, Julie Bartell. <br /> 14 <br /> 15 <br /> 16 REVIEW REGULAR AGENDA ITEMS <br /> 17 <br /> 18 Liquor Compliance Hearing. Jason Snyder of Jason's Bobby& Steve's Auto World, <br /> 19 7090 21st Av was present. The council discussed what the police department would be <br /> 20 recommending as far as a penalty for the compliance violation. The recommended <br /> 21 penalty includes a fine and a ten-day license suspension that would be stayed with no <br /> 22 further violations within 12 months. If there was another violation, that suspension may <br /> 23 impact all four of the liquor licenses depending upon the opinion of the city attorney. Mr. <br /> __ 24 Snyder indicated that both he and his partner, Robert Williams, will be speaking at the <br /> 25 hearing. <br /> 26 <br /> 27 Item 3B, City Administrator Position—Administrator Tesch relayed that the <br /> 28 announcement for the position has been advertised as of the previous week and that <br /> 29 period will end on June 19. <br /> 30 <br /> 31 The agenda will be amended to remove Items 8A, 8B and 8C since those minutes cannot <br /> 32 be acted upon with only two council members present and eligible to vote on them. <br /> 33 <br /> 34 The meeting was adjourned at 5:45 p.m. <br /> 35 <br /> 36 These minutes were considered, corrected and approved at the regular Council meeting held on <br /> 37 June 8, 2009. <br /> 38 ocz4}4.46.6.....1Thytt._ <br /> 39 <br /> 40 APderdvo <br /> 41 Julianne Bartell, City Clerk John Bergeson, Mayor <br /> 42 <br /> 1 <br />
