COUNCIL MINUTES June 22, 2009
APPROVED
■ ..81 Community Development Director Grochala reported on a project that would improve the
I-35E/County Road 14 bridge interchange. The city has been working with Anoka County on
improvement plans for the past two years. The project has a large federal funding component
but the remaining funding requirement is under discussion. Staff is requesting approval of the
plans and specification for the project. That action would in no way obligate the city to any
funding. Funding will be discussed in the future.
A council member requested that the title of Resolution No. 09-38 be amended to indicate that
the approval is for plans and specifications only. To state that the project is being approved at
this point would be premature.
Council Member Reinert moved to approve Resolution No. 09-38 as presented. Council
Member Gallup seconded the motion. Motion carried.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS
There was no unfinished business.

NEW BUSINESS
8A.
